Richmond International Raceway

A 3/4 mile race track in Richmond, Virginia.

Originally a dirt track and part of the Atlantic Rural Exposition of 1948.  Host to NASCAR events since 1953.  Paved in 1968.  In 1988, it was expanded from its original 1/2 mile to the current 3/4 mile.
