Henry Royce

Born:  1863

A co-founder of Rolls Royce.

Born in Altwalton, the Royce family moved to London, where in his youth Royce worked for the Royal Mail in Mayfair.

Later in life, he established an engineering business in Manchester.

On May 4, 1904, he met Charles Rolls, the other co-founder of Rolls Royce.
