A manufacturer of automobiles based in Kragujevac, Serbia (formerly in Yugoslavia). A local manufacturer of trucks for other companies since the late 1930's, it began producing cars on its own starting in 1953, selling many of them as
Yugos. It is now a part of
Fiat, the last Zastava branded car being built in 2008.
