Avanti II |

|
A sports car produced by the Avanti Motor Corporation.
After production of the Studebaker Avanti ended, two Indiana Studebaker dealers (Nate Altman and Leo Newman) bought the rights to the car and began producing it as the Avanti II.
The car was hand-built in a former Studebaker plant in South Bend, Indiana. The engine became a Chevrolet V8 from the Corvette. Gene Hardig was hired to be chief engineer of the car, after having served Studebaker as head engineer of the original Avanti.
