Kenseth wins in California

Alfred Johnson
February 28, 2007

At the California Speedway, Matt Kenseth wins in the closing laps Saturday night driving off with his fourth NASCAR Busch Series victory in 12 tries on the 2-mile oval.

Kenseth is up to position 12th in the standings, just 103 points behind new leader Mark Martin.

Jack Roush principle owner was very happy and excited about the recent achievement, but the team plans are still to appeal the 50-point penalty.

This is the very first win Kenseth is providing to Jack Roush since he sold half his team to Fenway Sports Group previously this month.

Kenseth took the lead on lap 129 with a pass from Burton, who is now driving for Richard Childress Racing to finally win the 150-lap event. Kenseth has expressed his joy and awaits for similar moments to come in future races.
