CHARLOTTE NC (March 23, 2012) - DE Motorsports is excited to join the growing list of drivers and teams part of the Racing 2 Cure family. The Auto-X team headlined with driver Lee Taylor is on a mission starting this season to fight cancer one run at a time. The team competes in the CCR-SCCA division while running in the Solo series. Racing 2 Cure helps families affected with cancer by providing finical support and resources such as tutoring for kids, yard services, and house bills while the patient is in the hospital.
Taylor has a special connection with his efforts in the Racing 2 Cure program. His father's mom, Frankie Taylor, is a breast cancer survivor and she is loving life more now than ever before. This does not mean though that the fight is over for the Taylor family. "I enjoy helping others out and I am so happy that I can fulfill this through my passion for racing" Lee said about his mission to help end cancer while providing financial support for Racing 2 Cure.
