Begins Three Race Stint This Weekend

CHARLOTTE NC (May 24, 2012) – After a one week intermission in his racing schedule, Garrett Marchant driver of the No. 77 Lone Star Car Transportation / Walgreens of Chino Valley, AZ Limited Late Model Chevy, will get ready for three straight weeks of racing. Marchant will be racing the next three Saturday nights under the lights at Southern National Motorsports Park in Kenly, NC where he is running for Rookie of the Year in his first full season driving a limited late model.

“I am looking forward to another good weekend which will hopefully translate into a solid run. My team and I just need to put everything together from practice to qualifying to racing. This is going to be a great start to summer as the No. 77 Lone Star Car Transportation / Walgreens of Chino Valley, AZ Limited Late Model Chevy makes its way to the front,” Garrett Marchant explained about his feelings headed into the Memorial Weekend race at SNMP.

This weekend’s race will be the first race of 75 laps in one race for the Limited Late Model crowd at Southern National Park and will be a great test for all the drivers.
