Constituent Mailbag: Plan To Address Rising Gas Prices, Expand American Energy Production, And Make Us Less Dependent On Foreign Energy

Congressman John Boehner
March 29, 2011

Today, Congressman John Boehner (R-West Chester) responded to phone calls and emails from 8th District Constituents concerned about rising gas prices.  In response to their concerns, Boehner discusses the American Energy Initiative, an ongoing effort by House Republicans to address rising gas prices, expand American energy production, and make us less dependent on foreign energy sources.

In the video, Congressman Boehner describes the plan as, “a common-sense strategy to increase all forms of American energy, whether it is environmentally-safe production, renewable and alternative sources, or conservation.  With families struggling to make ends meet, the American Energy Initiative will help lower gas prices and create jobs.”

Visit the American Energy Initiative on Facebook and click here to learn more about new legislation introduced today that will stop Washington policies that are driving up gas prices and expand American energy production to help lower costs and create more jobs.
