Born:  April 12, 1924
Died:  October 4, 1970

Former NASCAR Grand National driver between 1949 and 1961 and again between 1965 and 1968.  The gap in his career is due to being banned from NASCAR for being a supporter of the Teamsters union when the Teamsters tried to organize NASCAR drivers.
