The U.S. Navy and the Roush Racing team, featuring NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver Jon Wood, have teamed up to sponsor Navy Racing No. 50, a Ford F-150. The trucks new paint job was unveiled during a recent press conference at Daytona International Speedway.

Jon Wood, driver of the Navy sponsored No. 50 NASCAR Craftsman Series race truck, joins Sailors during a special pre-race reenlistment ceremony at Texas Motor Speedway. Sailors (left to right) are ET1 Gary D. Hayes, IT1 Walton I. Morris, AD3 Eric Caloway, AA Jimmy G. Williams, ET1 John W. Cueller and AD3 Anthony J. Leonard. Wood has appeared in reenlistment ceremonies for nearly 100 Sailors during the 2002 racing season as part of the center for Career Development’s effort to encourage Sailors to “Stay Navy.”

The Navy sponsored NASCAR Craftsman Truck series driver Jon Wood, took his driving experience to a whole new level during a ride with the Navy's Blue Angels elite flight demonstration team, at the Huntsville Air Show.  The Blue Angels is the Navy's top recruiting tool, attracting crowds by the thousands at air shows around the country.
