The 1992 Indianapolis Motor Speedway NASCAR tire test provided the teams with the opportunity to see what compound for tires worked best on the speedway. As in any classic car having appropriate tires is important for safety and can also help when looking into classic car insurance. Consider the fact that if you have the right tires there's less chance that an accident occurs due to a fault with them, and in turn your insurance will stay low. This may not be a factor for the teams at NASCAR, but regardless, the safety of not only drivers and pit crew, but also fans can be at stake at these races. Therefore, it's of the utmost importance that the race cars have the right set of tires on race day.
