NASCAR Winston Cup: Tony Stewart (Pontiac) NASCAR Busch Grand National Series: Greg Biffle (Ford) NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series: Mike Bliss (Chevrolet) ARCA Re/Max Series: Frank Kimmel (Ford)

Tony Stewart's 2002 Cup title would be Pontiac's last major stock car championship. The brand departed the series after 2003 in favor of consolidating GM's efforts behind Chevrolet and Stewart's second championship was won in a Chevy.
